Our Curriculum

Our philosophy is inspired by the core elements of the National Early Years Learning Framework (2009): Belonging, Being and Becoming.

We believe that every child is unique and encouraged to explore, engage and interact with their environment. We value all learning styles and our educators ensure every child is supported in a nurturing, secure and stimulating environment that promotes fun and happiness. Strong relationships are the foundation of our practice, and our broader Co-op community is developed through strong, trusting and respectful relationships.

We are committed to providing the highest quality care and education. Ongoing professional development, including research of diverse educational perspectives and theories, are a critical component of our philosophy. We actively share our Co-op’s achievements and programs with our broader community and professional network to continue to develop our practice.

Our work in sustainability and nature-based play has been a special area of focus for us. Children are empowered to make a difference to the world around them through experiencing and connecting with the natural world firsthand. Our programs are loved by the children and families at Co-op and have been recognised at a local, Australian and international level.
