Our community caring for our children

We welcome you to the North Fitzroy Childcare Co-operative, known to our families as 'Co-op'.

Co-op is a unique community-run centre for children aged between 8 months and 5 years. A small centre with only 27 places, we focus on supporting local families through strong relationships and a commitment to early childhood development. We aim to provide a warm, caring, safe and stimulating environment where children will experience care and attention appropriate to their age and stage of learning. At Co-op we recognise the importance of play as a child’s way of learning and developing life skills. We offer a diverse range of experiences with a balance between play, rest and routine. We value parents' involvement in Co-op and work in close partnership to support all aspects of their child’s learning and development.
